  • Lenin was born Chikomba, Zimbabwe and grew up there and later in Harare
  • He completed his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Hons with the University of Zimbabwe
  • He was Vice President of the University of Zimbabwe Students Union (2012-2013)
  • As an activist, he was suspended and arrested a number of times for standing up for democracy and academic freedom
  • He completed his LLM (Economic Regulation) with the University of London on a Canon Collins Scholarship, 2015-2017
  • He has worked with social justice groups such as ZIMCODD, Zimbabwe Environmental Law Association & the Southern Africa Campaign to Dismantle Corporate Power
  • He is the founder of the Progressive Centre for Economic and Environmental Justice in Africa (AfroProJustice), a volunteer organisation registered as a Trust in Zimbabwe
  • He aims to be a leading community organiser, writer & researcher on political rights, economic and environmental justice in Sub-Saharan Africa and internationally
